COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) – A nationwide effort is working to connect neighbors through homemade meal deliveries.
Lasagna Love, powered by more than 3,000 volunteers, is working to share kindness this holiday season. The organization says its mission is to address the rise in food insecurity for American families and provide love during the stressful pandemic.
"Lasagna Love was founded at the beginning of the pandemic, kind of by accident," the website reads. "The founder of Good to Mama was looking for a way to help moms in her community. She and her toddler started making and delivering meals to families in their neighborhood who were struggling."
